With three GO stations a short drive away and a brand new Innisfil GO Train Station on track, Diam’s new Radiance townhome community in Innisfil is a great choice for people who are going places.
Radiance residents who commute to work or school at GTA universities or colleges have a choice of stations nearby to get them where they’re GO-ing. The line runs south through Bradford, Newmarket, Aurora, King City, Vaughan, York University, Downsview and ends at Union Station in the heart of downtown Toronto.
To hop aboard you can drive north or south along Hwy 400. Just 15 minutes north is Barrie South at Yonge St & St. Paul’s Crescent, traditionally the most often used station by those living in Innisfil. Another option is 20 minutes south on Hwy 400 and into the Bradford Station. You can choose to avoid Hwy 400 altogether and get to Bradford in 22 minutes on Yonge St. If you continue along Yonge, you can even catch the GO Train at East Gwillimbury at 845 Green Lane East north of Newmarket. See GoTransit.com for schedules.
Very exciting news came recently when Metrolinx announced a new Innisfil station as part of the agency’s expansion plans that will also include all-day two-way service between Barrie and Union Station. The new Innisfil GO Train Station will be at the 6th Line rail junction - just a hop, skip and jump from Radiance! Starting 2025, Radiance residents can hop and GO.
As for getting around town, Innisfil has partnered with the ride-sharing Uber to run a fixed flat rate travel service to various destinations in Innisfil. From your home at Radiance, getting around town to the community centre or the shopping plaza, even up to Barrie, is a snap, even without a car.
No matter where your life is headed, Radiance is the walk, drive, Uber and GO community for you.
