Radiance in Innisfil. A vacation town for less.

March 2, 2018

Beaches, lakes, swimming, boating, picnics, bargain hunting, eating out and sports mean weekend vacations to most people – but it’s just everyday life at Radiance in Innisfil. Compared to resort townhomes nearby, Radiance is less than half the cost for the same fun lifestyle!

On the shores of Lake Simcoe, Innisfil offers a vacation town vibe with holiday- style amenities such as a beach park just down the road from home.

Summers spent swimming, playing and picnicking at Innisfil Beach Park are destined to become happy childhood memories for your little ones. The recently updated park with pay parking offers five clean and sandy swimming beaches, large children’s equipped playgrounds, seasonal take-out restaurant and washrooms, as well as beautiful picnic areas with BBQ’s. Pathways are paved from end to end of the park for cycling and walking. Sunsets are beautiful over the lake, especially when sitting at the point.

Sports facilities include soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, as well as a new boat ramp and boat slips. There’s also a toboggan hill for use by locals who are lucky enough to live here in winter, and that means the fortunate residents of Radiance, as well as ice fishing on the lake.

With a boat launch at the beach, getting on the lake is easy and opens up a whole new level of enjoyment to your Innisfil lifestyle. The fishing is outstanding in Lake Simcoe and the boating is amazing, for both motor and sailboat enthusiasts. There are 7 yacht clubs and an active sailing community on the lake that hold regattas and events held over the summer, as well as scuba diving.

Boaters have miles of open water in front of them from Cook’s Bay to the south to The Narrows at Orillia and beyond. Lake Simcoe is part of the 386-km interconnected Trent-Severn Waterways that enters the lake near Beaverton and continues north through Lake Couchiching then through Port Severn on its way to Georgian Bay.

Shopping around Innisfil is fun too. This renowned outlet and bargain shopping destination offers major brand name outlet stores at Tanger Outlet Mall, Roadshow’s Hwy 400 Market Antique Mall and Cookstown Antique Market all just minutes away.

No worries about how to keep the kids occupied during their summer holidays living in Innisfil, where summer fun is a specialty and all of cottage country is on your doorstep.

The longest freshwater beach in the world is just 45 minutes away at Wasaga Beach on the shores of Georgian Bay. The neighbouring Blue Mountain/ Collingwood area is widely recognized as Ontario’s four-season playground for its fabulous skiing at Blue Mountain, the Village shops and restaurants, and the area’s natural beauty. Activities such as hiking, biking, golfing, boating, sailing and festivals attract visitors all year long. Just 15 minutes from your door, Barrie’s own downtown waterfront beach is the site of the annual Kempenfest arts and crafts festival.

But with all the crowds, you will enjoy coming home to Innisfil. Residents at Radiance will discover their vacation-town hometown has it all - fun at half the cost!
